Quick Vodka Sauce Recipe
Serves 10
1/2 cup/4 ounces/115g butter
1 large onion, diced
(2) 28 ounce/794g crushed tomatoes
1 cup/250ml vodka
2 cups/500ml heavy cream
Melt the butter in a large sauce pan on medium heat. Add onions and saute until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes. Add vodka, bring to a boil for 1-2 minutes. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for 5 minutes.
